The largest Veterans parade of the day in South Florida getting ready to roll in Miami Beach. Thirteen high school marching bands, ROTC crews, Miami Beach Police, Fire, the Coast Guard, and military officials from Southern Command are marching along Ocean Drive at 5th Street in honor of our local veterans. Spokeswoman Marcia Monserrat says this year's tribute is especially touching since the event was held virtually last year. She says the entire event is outside so masks are optional. The parade coincides with the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month commemorating the ending of World War 1.
