Study Shows What Age People Say Is The Perfect One

Are you having the time of your life? Regardless of your age, I’m guessing no. There’s nothing about a pandemic which naturally lends itself to this being the best year of your life. But think back, what was the best year of your life? What’s the perfect age as you reflect?

According to a new survey conducted by OnePoll the magic number is, 36. The average American would remain 36 for the rest of their life given the option. This is due to 40% of Americans not wanting to revisit the mistakes of their 20’s and 40 being the age most people began to feel meaningful effects of aging. Of note, only 41% of us over the age of 40 embrace our current age.. Most people want to be able to go back to our former, less aged selves.

As I think about it, while 36 was a good age for me and 2016 turned out to be a good year overall, I don’t think I’d go back and do it over again. Though I would prefer to have fewer aches and pains. And the outcome of the 2016 election cycle while we’re at it.
