Florida’s Early Voting Update

Republicans have outperformed Democrats by 7% in overall turnout relative to voter registration.

As of Thursday, this is what we have:

  • Republicans: 646,610 (47%)
  • Democrats: 579,551 (42%)
  • No party: 151,234 (11%)
  • 3rd Party: 4,429 (.03%)

Republicans hold an advantage in voting in ballots received through the mail and in-person early voting. Republicans are clearly continuing the strong start with early voting in the primaries, which would seem to indicate that in Florida there's plenty of enthusiasm on the right. So far so good for Republicans. We’ll see if that continues.
