Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders is in the Sunshine State this Friday to campaign for Florida Democratic candidate for governor Andrew Gillum.
A campaign rally in support of Gillum kicked off at 11 a.m. in Tallahassee.
Gillum, the mayor of Tallahassee, is hoping support from Sanders, a candidate for president in 2016, will give him a boost in a crowded Democratic primary field.
Both Sanders and Gillum head to Orlando for a rally following the event in Tampa.
