Miami-Dade Multi-Car Crash Sends Victims To Hospital

Two people were rushed to the hospital after a multi-car crash in Northwest Miami-Dade late Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to the scene near NW 62nd Street and 7th Avenue, where three cars were involved in the crash just before midnight.

Miami Police said the crash took place after officers attempted to stop a white Corvette involved in an armed robbery just six blocks south.

Three men allegedly held a gun to the victim's head before two of the men left in the car and another fled on foot, according to authorities.

The Corvette then collided with the other two cars involved, police said.

The driver of the Corvette was arrested and charged with fleeing and eluding police, while the passenger was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center where he is now listed in stable condition.

The driver of the first car hit by the Corvette was taken to North Shore Hospital with minor injuries.

The conditions of both victims is unknown at this time while the driver of the second car was treated at the scene.

Miami Police say they are hoping the victim of the alleged robbery will come forward and speak with investigators.
