Massive Gator Removed From Florida Park (Pictures)

State and local officials near Sarasota made a huge capture over the weekend – they managed to wrangle and remove a 13-foot-alligator from inside a park.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office posted the photo on social media showing the reptile captured inside Shamrock Park (located in Venice).

Several departments banned together to assisted in the capture: Sarasota County deputies, officials from the county’s animal services department, and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

The summer months have seen a rise in the number of gators being captured and incidents involving the reptiles.
