Vice President Mike Pence is continuing his vacation on the coast of Southwest Florida this Monday after an Easter morning church appearance.
Pastor Daryl Donovan introduced Pence and his wife, Karen Pence, to a standing ovation from the overflow crowd at Sanibel Community Church on Sunday.
Flanked by his Secret Service shadows, the vice president, his wife and their children were escorted into the church grounds by the usual security phalanx of SUVs and agents.
It's the second year in a row the Pences have attended a sermon by Pastor Donovan.
However, Pence and his family had been regular visitors to Sanibel for years before he became vice president.
