Rapper Kodak Black Arrested From Pompano Home After Police Raid

South Florida rapper Kodak Black was arrested Thursday evening in Pompano Beach.

The artist, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was on Instagram live at the time of his arrest.

Police raided the 20-year-old's Pembroke Pines home, then took him into custody. He was arrested on seven felony counts, including: 

  • Grand theft of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon by a convicted felon
  • Marijuana possession 
  • Child neglect
  • Two counts of probation violation

Black is currently being held at the Broward Sheriff’s Office. He is expected in court Friday morning.
