Florida's Job Rate Is On The Incline

Florida's job rate is on the up and up.

At the end of 2017 it was sitting at 3.7 percent... up a tenth-of-a-percent from November. But the state is touting the fact that nearly 30,000 jobs were created in December. 

The unemployment rate in the Miami area dipped from 4.6 percent to 4.5 percent in December. 

It's 3.4 percent in the Fort Lauderdale area. 

It's 3.6 percent in Palm Beach.

The Miami area ranks second in state in job creation...with more than 32,000 created during the year.
