Guess How Much Floridians Spend On Smoking Each Year

If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, a new report suggests that you're letting nearly $30,000 a year "go up in smoke."

WalletHub research finds Floridians will spend nearly $180,000 over a lifetime on smoke related health-care costs. The study also say Floridians will blow nearly $200,000 in income on smoking. 

There are currently about 36,500,000 tobacco users in the U.S. Altogether, Wallethub says Americans spend $300-billion per year on smoking. 

Tobacco use accounts for nearly half a million deaths in the U.S. each year and is the leading cause of lung cancer, according to the American Lung Association.
