A Miami charter school teacher is accused of maintaining a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old student for nearly two years.
30-year-old Valeria Ashley Costadoni, an English teacher at Miami Arts Charter School, was arrested early Monday. She faces charges including lewd and lascivious battery on a child 12-16-years-old.
An arrest report alleges Costadoni and the teen have been engaging in consensual sex for about two years.
The teen told police he had sex with Costadoni at her home multiple times times, and on many occasions she would perform sex acts on him in a classroom when no one else was present.
The report also says the two had sex in her car and at the teen's home.
