ARM Releases Video Exposing Abuse At Yet Another Florida Dairy Farm

Yet again, the Animal Recovery Mission of South Florida has released another video showing alleged abuses at another dairy farm.

The undercover footage, released Wednesday, was taken from Davie Dairy Farm in Okeechobee, according to ARM officials. Okeechobee is the same city where the group captured abuse at two other locations -- Larson Dairy Farm and Burnham Dairy Farm.

In the Davie Dairy video, animals are seen being hoarded together and calves being abused shortly after birth.

The video also shows animals being left for dead, with carcasses lining areas around the farm. One scene shows the farm’s owner, Theodore Berman, helping to load calves into a trailer where they were stuffed inside without room to move.

Davie Dairy Farms provides milk to Southeast Milk, a company of over 300 farms that provide milk to supermarkets such as Publix and Winn Dixie.

After investigations exposed abuses at other farms in Okeechobee, Publix Supermarkets announced they would no longer carry milk produced from Larson Dairy Farms.

WIOD was live at a press conference held by ARM in regard to the latest investigation.

"By ARM releasing its footage, the goal is to create dramatic changes into animal welfare policies that are strictly monitored by governing agencies," says the release be ARM. "A major part of ARM’s factory farm division is also to bring awareness to the general public regarding the truths behind where your food is coming from and the consequences that animals are paying for the products which they produce."
