A teenager is recovering in the hospital after being pinned underneath a car driven by his aunt Monday afternoon in Margate.
The 13-year-old boy, identified by family as C.J. Martin, was apparently messing around with the driver when he jumped onto the hood and fell off.
The vehicle lurched forward and one tire ran over C.J. Officers and bystanders lifted the car off the boy after the incident at 491 SW 50th Ave.
C.J. was reportedly conscious as he was airlifted to Broward Health Medical Center. His condition was not immediately known.
Police said no charges are expected.
