Vans Warped Tour Will Come To An End In 2018

The Vans Warped Tour is finally coming to an end.

The punk music festival has been criss-crossing the country since 1995, and will make its final trip next year.

Producer Kevin Lyman said in a statement that he's planning a 25th anniversary celebration of the Vans Warped Tour in 2019, but the traveling tour will end in 2018.

Lyman said several factors went into the decision, including declining ticket sales, an evolving festival industry and a shrinking number of bands that fit Warped Tour’s brand.

With the final tour on the horizon, Lyman said he’s still searching for bands to fit his line-up.

“You’re gonna see a big mix of bands I felt really embraced the Warped Tour lifestyle,” he told Billboard. “I don’t want to say a ‘mature’ lineup, but bands that I think could use one more big push of Warped Tour to help further their careers.”

It'll hit Orlando, Tampa, and West Palm Aug 3rd through the 5th.
