Post-Irma Abandoned Boats Are Being Removed From Miami-Dade

The U.S. Coast Guard and Florida Fish and Wildlife officials are beginning to remove boats that have been abandoned in Miami-Dade County following Hurricane Irma.

Assessment stickers are being placed on the vessels.

If they're not moved, they will be taken to Watson Island Marina or the Seminole Boat Ramp.

Those who can't afford to remove or repair their boats can sign ownership over to the FWC.
