Deerfield Beach Man Prostituted Women On I-95, Investigators say

A Deerfield Beach man is accused of crimes that Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi calls appalling.

Robert Miner, 27, was arrested for allegedly trafficking women up and down Interstate 95 over the past few years.

The victims accused him of creating a climate of fear and one woman says he raped her at knifepoint in Fort Lauderdale this year.

Miner was transferred to a Palm Beach County jail on Sunday after his arrest last week in Jacksonville, said Kylie Mason, a spokeswoman for the Florida Office of the Attorney General.

“The facts of this case are appalling—that anyone is charged with forcing another human being into the sex trade,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Besides trafficking, Attorney General Pam Bondi is also charging Miner with sexual battery and he could get life in prison.
