BSO Investigating Two Attempted Sexual Battery Cases In Deerfield

Broward's Special Victims Unit is investigating two attempted sexual battery cases in in Deerfield Beach, where an intruder entered the homes of two women because the doors were unlocked.

Detectives are trying to determine whether the two Oct. 4th cases are related.

Both victims live in condominiums near A1A and Hillsboro Boulevard and Hillsboro Boulevard and 21st Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white male about 5' 10" in his 30s who has facial hair, possibly a goatee, and a medium build. 

He had short, dark hair – either because it was cut or because he is balding.

The first victim, a 53-year-old woman, said the introducer entered her home at about 1:30 a.m. 

The second victim, a 33-year-old woman, said the intruder attacked her with a knife and attempted to sexually batter her. .
