Jose Now A Tropical Storm, Expected To Restrengthen

Jose has been downgraded to a tropical storm -- but is expected to restrengthen.

The National Hurricane Center says that Jose's maximum sustained winds have dropped to 70 miles an hour as it slowly moves west-northwest between the Bahamas and Bermuda.

Forecasters say that some restrengthening is forecast to begin Friday, and it will likely become a hurricane again by the weekend.

Swells from Jose are expected to cause rip currents along Florida's Atlantic Coast over the next few days.
