The National Hurricane Center has extended the Storm Surge Warning from Jupiter Inlet to Sebastian Inlet and from Bonita Beach northward to Venice.
The Hurricane Watch has been extended to the Flagler/Volusia County Line, and along the west coast of Florida to Anclote River.

In addition to hurricane warnings in South Florida, the National Hurricane Center is also issuing storm surge warnings.
A combination of the storm surge and the tide could cause flooding in areas that normally would remain dry.
At high tide, the water could rise:
- 5 to 10 feet above ground from Jupiter Inlet to Bonita Beach, including the Florida Keys;
- 3 to 5 feet from Bonita Beach to Venice on the Gulf coast and
- 3 to 6 feet from Jupiter Inlet to Sebastian Inlet.
Rainfall through Tuesday in southeast Florida could amount to 10 to 15 inches and up to 20 inches in isolated areas.
The rest of the state could get anywhere from three to 12 inches.
