The Florida Highway Patrol says multiple vehicles may have hit a woman in the northbound lanes of Florida's Turnpike near Fort Lauderdale early Wednesday morning.
Troopers are unsure whether the woman walked onto the turnpike, or if she jumped from a nearby overpass.
According to investigators, the woman was in her mid-20s to mid-30s. She was not carrying any identification.
Allegedly, no one stopped to help after the woman was hit.
