3-D Ovaries For Mice Could Lead To New Pregnancy Developments For Humans

Scientists have created ovaries for mice using a 3-D printer.

A newly-released study says when the ovaries were implanted in the mouse, they resulted in live births.  The 3-D printed ovaries were made with female cancer survivors in mind.

The lead author at Northwestern University says if the technology works for humans, it could offer hope to women who lose ovarian function due to cancer treatments and for other reasons.
