A Boynton Beach Community High School student is back in custody after cutting off his ankle bracelet Wednesday and leaving home.
Austin Puppo was on house arrest, after being accused of robbing a bank and making a false report about planting a bomb or explosive in February. During that incident, Puppo fled on a bicycle with $1,447 in cash.
Authorities say Puppo has been on house arrest since his arrest, but he allegedly cut off his monitoring device Wednesday and left his home in the 14500 block of White Jade Terrace in Delray Beach.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says Puppo was re-arrested Friday morning.
