SpaceX hopes to make history with Thursday's launch from Cape Canaveral.
The company owned by Elon Musk will be using a Falcon 9 rocket to put a communications satellite into orbit. The satellite will provide television broadcast and telecommunication services for Central and South America.
For the first time in history, a rocket will be launched using a second-hand booster. The first-stage rocket booster in tomorrow's launch has been used before by SpaceX, in a Falcon 9 launch last April.
Special launch viewing opportunities are available to the public that plans to be in the Orlando area. More information can be found at the Kennedy Space Center website, here.
The launch is set to take place on Thursday, March 30, at 6:27 p.m. EST.
