Congressman Ted Deutch Talks Controversial, Looming "Trumpcare"

South Florida Congressman and Rep. for both Palm Beach and Broward Counties Ted Deutch joins the Fernand Amandi show Friday to discuss the ever-controversial "Trumpcare" AKA American Health Care Act.

The vote on the proposed replacement of Obamacare, scheduled to coincide with the 7th anniversary of the signing of Obamacare, got pushed back yesterday when House Speaker Paul Ryan and crew realized they still did not have the numbers.

Last night, the Trump Administration announced that the last offer was on the table and, if Trumpcare is not passed, Republicans will be stuck with Obamacare and Trump is going to move on. Trump himself also had some words to add this morning:

So what do we need to know? Florida Congressman Deutch breaks it down.

Ted Deutch on the Facts of Healthcare:

"There's a values debate that's going on here too, and whether or not we think there's some merit in stripping away healthcare"

Ted Deutch on Whether or Not Trumpcare Will Pass:

"If the president makes a good enough deal with who-knows-what kind of promises... then maybe they get the votes"
