South Florida is Feeling the Effects of Winter Storm Stella

We may not be covered in snow, but we in South Florida are definitely feeling the effects of Winter Storm Stella.

All over Florida it's the same story — flights to and from destinations in the Northeast are cancelled. Airlines have canceled about 5,500 flights nationwide, according to tracking service FlightAware.com. The airports with the most cancellations were Newark (NJ), LaGuardia (NY) and Boston Logan International Airport (MA).

Dubbed "Winter Storm Stella," the monster storm is moving from the Midwest to the Eastern Seaboard and there's nothing anyone can do except wait.  More than 60-million people are in the path of the storm, which is expected to bring with it more than a foot of snow.
