WATCH: Amazing: Taiwanese magician makes bread grow out of his hands

Really fun to watch if you aren’t creeped out by image of baked goods shooting from his limbs.

Houdini wowed audiences with his escape from the deadly Chinese Water Torture Cell. David Copperfield seemingly made the Statue of Liberty vanish into thin air in an infamous 1983 live television broadcast.

Taiwanese magician “Yif Magic” makes bread grow out of his hands. French croissants and baguettes, no less. It’s really fun to watch if you aren’t initially creeped out by the image of baked goods shooting out from his limbs.

(Head to 2:45 for the beginning of the bread act in general. Of particular note, 4:20 marks the beginning of the signature trick in which Yif materializes a massive baguette from his hand.)

Houdini and Copperfield rose to stardom by taking their acts to the most popular venues of their day, vaudeville and television, respectively. Yif Magic too takes to the frontier of performance arenas in the 21st century: YouTube.
