***My response to a tiny uproar from yesterday's show;

Yesterday, we had what I thought would end up being a fun conversation about fashion.  After watching Senator Hillary Clinton's speech from the Democratic National Convention, I thought something we could discuss was her signature style.  The pantsuit.  Apparently, some people out there either have absolutely zero sense of humor or are Misandries in general.

I received a couple of calls and there were a couple of e-mails throwing about horrific epithets and calling me a Misogynist of all things.

For the record, the three most important people in my life are women.  Probably, 8 out of the 10 most important people in my life are women.  The conversation I intended to have on the show yesterday, and I thought we did have, was the equivalent of whether we should bring fedoras back in fashion.

Even the ladies that called, during the 3-hours we happened to take calls on the issue of pantsuits, either agreed with me or politely disagreed and said it was just a matter of professionalism.

When she got home, my wife said; "What are you talking about?  You think I look beautiful when I wear pantsuits."  I said to her; "You look beautiful no matter what you wear, you look beautiful."  The point of the conversation wasn't whether women should wear pantsuits or whether they dont look good in them.  They're just not my cup of tea.  That was all!

The reaction from a miniscule portion of our audience just goes to show what we had discussed on the show a few weeks ago.  No matter what topic you bring up and no matter how lighthearted or mundane the conversation, someone is sure to be offended.

I find that incredibly sad.  Look at some of the horrors in the world today.  Look at yourselves and then tell me that a meaningless and carefree conversation about "pantsuits" of all things warrant that kind of offense and reaction.

The Borat Mankini Thong has become Amazon.co.uk's surprise summer bestseller.
Amazon says recent sales have been driven by the popularity of a spoof video featuring members of Great Britain's Olympic men's silver medal-winning eight crew.

They sing a comic version of Frank Sinatra's My Way, with one member sporting the Borat-like swim suit on top of a mountain.
